Alongside the Debut Author Challenge I am going to be attempting the British Books Challenge 2011 hosted by The Bookette.
Such a lovely idea to promote 'home grown' talent. Some of the books I wish to read for the Debut Author Challenge actually count towards this challenge too *Yay 2 birds 1 stone* [ ; D ]
Here are a few of the books I would like to read:
- Entangled by Cat Clarke
- WereWorld: Rise of the Wolf by Curtis Jobling
- Iron Witch by Karen Mahoney
- Small Blue Thing by S C Ransom
- Almost True by Keren David
- Swapped by a Kiss by Luisa Plaja
- White Crow by Marcus Sedgwick
- Jessie Loves NYC by Keris Stainton
- Mortal Coil by Derek Landy (I have had this on my TBR shelf for months - I love Skulduggery Pleasant and this is the push I need to read it
- The Necromancer by Micheal Scott (same with this one - this is the push I need)
- The Demons Surrender by Sarah Rees Brennan
Hi Emma, thanks for signing up to the challenge. I have added your link to the widget for you. Loving the link too. That will come in very handy indeed. Best of luck with the challenge.

ReplyDeleteooh some titles i haven't heard of and i am definitely checking out that site!
ReplyDeleteI love that all the UK bloggers are getting so on board with this. I have been 'guessing' who's a British author though, so I think that resource you've mentioned is going to come in useful.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to be taking part in this as well, thanks for the link - it's going to be very useful :)
ReplyDeleteAh, thank you for the reminder that I really must write up my list for this challenge. Might be the only challenge I sign up for!
