 REVIEW:

The first Arctic 6 adventure is an adrenaline packed thriller that follows the exploits of the fifteen year old Iago his cousins, Cam, Tara and Renny and his younger sister, Aretha. Joined by their friend, the bewitching Charlie. They set off on a mission to save Iago’s father who has been accidentally kidnapped – by perhaps the maddest of all the mad scientists.

The book has a nice feel- a group of friends work together to rescue one of their fathers, whilst also trying to prevent a mad scientist from using the Large Hadron Collider at CERN to create world-destroying particles.

It is good book for a lot of younger children aged 10-13, the book does say that it is aimed at teens but I feel like the author hasn’t really done much to impress older readers, they may feel a bit cheated because the author hasn’t gone into depth therefore the book is better for readers of a younger age.

I feel like the book could have slowed down and had more detailed expressions then just rush into things. On the other hand I feel like the book had a great set of characters and a nice, jaw dropping adventure.
