Spotlight: Classics Carnival Coming August 2012

As most of my lovely blogging friends are already aware, I am running an entire month featuring Classic Books that have been re-written and the stories updated. Personally I love Shakespeare, Bronte, Austen and Shelley BUT I also know how much pupils struggle with these books in school. How they find them less than appealing. Following on from a twitter conversation today I thought it wise to announce my plans in advance even though the month isn't until August. Huge thanks to my lovely friends that look after me - what would I do without you in my life even though I haven't met half of you lol.

If you would like to contribute with a guest post or guest review please contact me at asamum3 (at) gmail (dot) com

I am especially interested in posts that examine how the classics can be related to life today, especially to teens.

Thank you in advance and if you would like to copy and paste the images below onto your blogs I would greatly appreciate it.
