I think it is really important to have books in the school library that deal with the tougher aspects of teenage life. Sometimes it is easier for teens to read about a subject that might affect them personally than open up to another person. I think sometimes you just have to get something straight in your own mind before confiding in others. That is why I would love to see the following 2 books in the school library.

ReplyDeleteHolly Cupala is absolutely amazing. Not only is the author herself lovely, bit I had the pleasure of reading an ARC of Tell Me a Secret before it's publication and I couldn't stop gushing. And Don't Breathe a Word took my breath away. Both books were gritty and real and just wow! I'd highly recommend you buy these for your library and for yourself, Emma, heck, I'd even buy them for you if I could! That's how much I love them!! <3
